Skater's Quest, LLC, DC Inner City Excitement, LLC., and Washington Area Roadskaters are proud to present the Skate of the Union on June 21-24, 2012.
Skate of the Union is the USA's premier all-skating weekend in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area that has skating activities for all types of wheels (inline, roller & skateboard) and ability levels from beginner clinics and demos to professional competitive races.

Proceeds from the Skate of the Union benefit Special Olympics
Virginia, the DC Inner City Excellence and the R. Marshall Brown Fund.
- Special
Olympics Virginia is a non-profit sports organization that provides
opportunities for nearly 13,000 children and adults with mental disabilities
in the Commonwealth.
- DC Inner City
Excellence (DC-ICE) is a non-profit skating-based youth development
organization rooted in Olympism that introduces youth living in the Nation's
Capital to skating sports.
- Marshall Brown was a leader in the inline skating community especially in
Washington, DC. The R. Marshall Brown Fund, administered by the
Toledo Foundation, was
set up as a way to honor him and continue his lasting legacy of giving back.
