All inline and roller skating timed events will using disposable B-tag timing from Amazing Race Timing. Prior to skating, all participants are required to check-in to complete a waiver and receive their assigned race bib and tags.
race registration and fees
All 5K participants must be at least 5 years of age.
All skating participants must check in and complete a waiver prior to entering both Saturday & Sunday events.
Drafting & Etiquette
Cross-gender drafting is permitted. All slower skaters are requested to skate in the right side of the track to allow for incident free passing by faster skaters in the left lane.
All participants must wear their event number on their left thigh to access the track.
All participants are required to wear a helmet and wrist protection. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.
Additional Safety Precautions
Headphones, baby joggers, strollers and animals are not permitted on the track.
It is recommended that all participants bring their own personal hydration system
(e.g. water bottle or Camelbak) or have supporters available to hand you water bottles.
race awards & categories
There will be a monetary prize purse for the top 3 male and female finishers of the Marathon.
Trophies will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers of the Marathon.
Medals and prizes will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers for the 5K & Half Marathon.
Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age category for the Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K separated by discipline (inline vs. quad).
Medals will be given to all 1-Lap Roll Finishers.
Primary 8 & Under, Juvenile 9-10, Freshman 11-13, Junior 14-17, Senior 18-24,
Master 25-34, Master 35-44, Master 45-54, Master 55+
Results will be posted online by July 9, 2017.
Inclement Weather Policy
No skating will be permitted in the case of lightning.
The 5K & 1-Lap Kids Roll will be cancelled if the pavement is wet.
